Free Virtual Peer Community Helps Veterans and Military Families Build Meaningful Connections

Shareapy Military offers Veterans, active-duty service members, first responders and their immediate family members a free virtual community where they can connect through professionally facilitated conversations and shared experiences. The program provides a supportive space to build relationships, reduce isolation and strengthen personal well-being.

Military service often creates bonds that can be difficult to replace after returning to civilian life. For some Veterans, losing that familiar sense of connection can contribute to isolation—especially during periods of transition, unemployment, housing instability or personal difficulty.

Shareapy Military offers a free virtual peer-support community for Veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders and their immediate family members. Participants can join professionally facilitated weekly online gatherings where they can listen, share experiences and connect with people who understand the realities of military service and transition.

The program is designed to complement—not replace—professional mental health treatment. It is a nonclinical community focused on connection, conversation and supportive relationships.

Eligible participants can access:

  • Weekly virtual, facilitator-led gatherings
  • Conversations with Veterans, service members and first responders
  • Peer connection in a supportive environment
  • Wellness resources and community programming
  • Opportunities to build personal and professional relationships

At GI Go Fund, we know that Veterans’ needs do not exist in isolation. Employment, housing stability, physical and mental well-being, financial security and a dependable support network are often closely connected. Resources that help Veterans rebuild a sense of community can be an important part of a successful transition.

Participation in Shareapy Military is currently offered at no cost to eligible members. Learn more or register through the Shareapy Military website.
