Run Route
The 1 mile run will begin at the South Cove Marina in Battery Park, which is where the SEALs will be exiting the water after their trek across the Hudson River. From there, all runners and swimmers will run northbound carrying the American flag along the Battery Park Esplanade boardwalk, then will turn right on Liberty St and cross the West Side Highway to the America's Response Monument in Liberty Park.
This last run will be a culminating moment for swimmers and police officers, who will join together and in commemoration of the lives lost on 9/11. Afterwards, they will be greeted by NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell.
