ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
You will serve as a WORK CONTROL TECHNICIAN in the Repair Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.
- You will prepare Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) and Technical Work Document (TWD) Record Sheets based on work packages.
- You will review and approve Ship's Force proposed tagouts/lockouts as the Repair Activity Representative (RAR).
- You will conduct third party review of posted tags for IMF Maintenance (PTC).
- You will staff the Maintenance Operation Center (MOC), providing guidance on work control issues and questions.
- You will apply knowledge of SSBN Torpedo Room Systems to perform lockouts/tagouts.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector interpreting technical engineering schematics and drawings to review and approve lockouts and/or tagouts of Ship, Submersible, Ballistic, Nuclear (SSBN) Torpedo Room Systems in support of the repair and overhaul of Naval ships and submarines.
