Field Service & Delivery Specialist
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Field Service & Delivery Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to customers, conducting accurate inventory counts, and providing outstanding customer service. This position combines delivery operations, field service support, and inventory management while serving as a key link between our customers, sales teams, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Field Support
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional and courteous interactions during deliveries and site visits.
- Build positive relationships with customers while serving as a representative of the company.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding schedules, delivery status, inventory concerns, and service needs.
- Address customer concerns and delivery challenges and escalate unresolved issues to management as needed.
Delivery Operations
- Safely and efficiently deliver products to customer locations according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure on-time service.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain required customer signatures and documentation.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials while ensuring product integrity and safety.
- Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Inventory & Material Management
- Perform accurate physical counts of customer-owned inventory on job site.
- Record and report inventory levels, discrepancies, and material usage.
- Ensure inventory data and documentation are completed accurately and timely.
- Assist with material organization and inventory control activities.
Documentation & Reporting
- Complete delivery receipts, inventory reports, count sheets, and other required documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory counts, and customer interactions.
- Report delivery exceptions, inventory discrepancies, vehicle concerns, and safety issues promptly.
Vehicle Care & Safety
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep of assigned vehicles.
- Report maintenance needs and equipment concerns in a timely manner.
- Follow all company safety procedures and promote a safe work environment.
Warehouse Support
- Assist with warehouse operations during non-delivery periods, including:
- Picking and preparing customer orders
- Organizing inventory and storage locations
- General housekeeping and cleanup
- Assisting with receiving and stocking materials
- Support team operations as needed to meet customer and business requirements.
Additional Duties
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when counting, recording, and handling inventory.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to operate safely in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery driving, logistics, inventory management, field service, or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with local roads, traffic patterns, and delivery routes.
- Experience using delivery documentation, handheld devices, or inventory management systems.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable with extended periods of driving.
- Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Compensation: $25.00/Hourly
Schedule: Hours will range from 5:00am-4:00pm (Monday-Friday)
