Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Mammographer, you must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, must possess the ability to assess data reflective of patient status, and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to the age-specific need and provide the care needed as described in the department policies and procedures. The Mammographer remains calm in crises and emergencies and directs staff members effectively and appropriately. The Mammographer maintains professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team.
You will exercise professional judgment in service performance and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
You will Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential to completing the procedure.
What qualifications you will need:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology School
Completion of all Nevada State and MQSA requirements
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Radiography and Mammography
Current CPR certificate in Basic Life Support
Two years of clinical experience in Radiography.
Demonstrated experience in leadership, management, and establishing interpersonal relationships necessary to promote an effective working environment
