Salary:The City of New York Office of the Mayors compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles and exceptional benefits. Our cash compensation range for this role is $75,000 $85,000. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on candidate experience and expertise, and other factors. The Agency Youll Join: The NYC Mayors Office of Equity & Racial Justice (MOERJ) was established in October 2023 as the City of New Yorks centralized agency to advance equity. Our mandate is rooted in a simple but powerful belief that every New Yorker deserves the chance to live, work, and thrive with dignity. To realize that vision, MOERJ brings together several key initiatives and offices, including the NYC Commission on Gender Equity (CGE), NYC Her Future (NHF), the NYC Young Mens Initiative (YMI), and the NYC Unity Project (UP), as well as cross-agency bodies like the NYC Pay Equity Cabinet (PEC) and the NYC Taskforce on Racial Inclusion & Equity (TRIE). Together, we create a unified framework for addressing the many ways inequity shows up in daily life. Through NYC Her Future, works to ensure that every girl and young woman across the five boroughs has access to the opportunities, resources, and support needed to thrive. NYC Her Future advances initiatives across education, workforce development, health and safety, and mentoring, reaching thousands of young people through strategic partnerships with city agencies, community-based organizations, and private sector leaders.As a critical part of the mayors efforts to build a stronger and healthier city, MOERJ works across city agencies and external partners to affect meaningful changes. Every staff member plays an integral role in our unrelenting commitment to equity. The Team Youll Work With:You will join NYC Her Futures Programs and Strategic Partnerships team, working at the center of a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment that spans multiple City agencies, community partners, and stakeholders.This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Programs & Strategic Partnerships, serving as a key thought partner and operational lead across the offices growing portfolio. From flagship initiatives like STEAM workforce grants and public safety partnerships to maternal health and economic mobility pilots, you will help drive the execution, coordination, and visibility of work that reaches tens of thousands of young people across New York City.You will work closely with internal leadership, agency partners (DOE, DYCD, NYPD, CUNY, and others), and external stakeholders to move initiatives from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment, accountability, and impact at every stage.

Requirements

1. Graduation from an accredited college with a baccalaureate degree; or 2. Graduation from an accredited community college plus two years of experience with administrative, analytic, coordinative, supervisory or liaison responsibilities; or 3. A four year high school diploma or its educational equivalent plus four years of experience as described in "2" above; or 4. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.
