Veterans provided food, clothes, medical assistance, legal aid, and more; Event was part of GI Go’s commitment to ending veteran homelessness, which also includes their recent Navy SEAL Hudson River Swim that raised over $200,000 to end veteran homelessness; Event partners include the city of Newark, along with the VA, the NJ National Guard, and NJDMAVA

History Made as Team of Navy SEALs Swim Across Hudson River Raising Over $200,000 to Support Military Veterans and Their Families

A team of over 30 SEALs swam across the Hudson River from Liberty State Park to Battery Park to honor our military veterans, their families, and all of those who died during 9/11 and the wars that followed that fateful day; Event was the first-ever legally sanctioned swim across Hudson River, with the full support of city and state officials, as well as local police and fire departments; Event was a fundraiser benefitting GI Go Fund and its mission to support veterans in getting the services they need
