Certified Hyperbaric Technologist

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Certified Hyperbaric Technician in the Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center, you will perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency functions for patients of all ages. You will provide care to patients receiving hyperbaric or wound care services.
- You will plan and implement initial patient evaluation upon admission to unit
- You will coordinate and schedule patient transportation needs
- You will participate with physician and other staff for daily team and patient updates
- You will verify physician orders and carry them out promptly and accurately
- You will administer and document medications accurately under physician supervision
- You will provide and legibly document records and reports in compliance with hospital standards and physician orders
- You will maintain functional and safe equipment and environment
- You will adhere to the organization’s infection control policies
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (CHT) Certified Hyperbaric Technologist
- Associate Degree
